So I finally bit the bullet (and swallowed the entire magazine), purchased a domain and started building my website. And, let me tell you…. oh my God, it sucks! Nothing makes you feel more inadequate as a woman of the modern age than five zillion .css and .php codes. I don’t even know what that means, but they are everywhere. Like sand. I’ll be digging those codes out of the cracks of my brain for months.

But, regardless of the necessity to learn a little HTML, I’m pretty excited about the whole thing. My new site will feature a blog, direct download tutorials, exclusive video tutorials, and lots of informational articles. And, of course, a gallery of my work.

Be kind. It’s in it’s infancy right now. I’ve hardly added a thing.  No pictures, few blog posts. Nada. I tried to convert from Blogger, but photos didn’t import. As I was right clicking images to later add manually, I realized I needed a fresh start entirely, and opted to cancel the importing process, with the exception of a few informational posts which I’ll add individually over the next few days.

So, what you see is what you get.

For now.

But rest assured… it will be AWESOME! I’m working diligently every day. Okay, so I’m only two days in, and it took me fifteen hours to figure out how to change my font and add pages (damn you WordPress!), yet I’m still somehow satisfied with my progress.

Tomorrow is a Pow Wow with my Mother-in-Law and then I’m back to work, I swear! Next I will master the fine art of adding a gallery… or ten. Sigh. So many pictures, so little time.

But, as fair warning, I’ll soon be adding a re-direct from Blogger to this site, and will eventually close the blog entirely. And, for the grand opening of my site, I will be offering a free brand new tutorial, and I’m not gonna tell you what it is! Give me a month and I’ll whip this site into shape, don’t you doubt it! Be on the look-out for my Grand Opening post and further details.
