Oh Art... You're So Fun!

Last night’s blog post sort of inspired in me the desire to work on an independent art project, which I’ve cuddled and fondled in my imagination for years but to which I have never dedicated any real time. It may or may not result in a tangible product but, I like to draw, I’ve ignored it for months, and it’s building up in me like a wild tornado of need.

So I’m giving myself an early vacation. This week will be focused purely on sketching and research for my project. And each subsequent month, until this project is complete, I will dedicate a week towards this goal. Of course, custom jewelry orders will still be handled promptly and professionally. I will always post announcements when or if I am no longer able to fulfill new custom requests. New ready-to-wear items, however, will likely not be posted during these dedicated art weeks, but who knows what inspiration will birth! I’ve been known, from time to time, to work on several projects simultaneously, but I’d rather nothing suffer from a lack of dedicated attention. After all, it is better to do one thing very well, then several things passably.

To celebrate this new project, and since I wont be posting anything new this week, I thought I would offer you a TUTORIAL SALE! I don’t do this often, even via the multiple platforms I’ve utilized. So here it is: for a limited time get 30% off 3-9 tutorials, or 50% off 10 or more! But here’s the thing… I (unfortunately) don’t currently utilize a shopping cart and have no way to apply any coupon codes. So in order to get your discount, follow these few and easy steps:

Not so hard, right? I’m excited about my new project, so I’m in a hurry to get to work. I need to make the most of this week, since I have TONS to do the rest of the month (can’t forget the bangle tutorial coming in September…. preview will [finally] be posted late next week).
