It’s been an amazing ride, this last year, during which I’ve had the opportunity to meet incredible people full of talent, love and a strong desire to wreck havoc with beads and wires, and express themselves with abandon. Which means you. are. AWESOME! Either wearing adventure or creating it, you have shown yourselves to be fearless and unbelievably willing to throw caution to the wind in your unwavering support of me. I mean… let’s face it…. I’m a total trouble maker with an extreme distrust of convention and, yes, I’m more than a little odd. Yet, you still applaud my unremarkable achievements as much as the remarkable ones. That is the indicator of a true fan and friend, and I’m eternally grateful.
And to say thank you, I am officially announcing my “2500 ‘Likes’ Facebook Fans Giveaway: Choose Your Prize”. Yep, that’s right. You get to choose your prize. In the comments below, let me know what type of jewelry or body accessory you would like to win, and your request automatically enters you in the giveaway. At 2500 Facebook “likes”, a grand prize winner will be generated from the comments and she (or he) will win whatever request they’ve submitted! Fun, right? But fair warning… if you request something weird, like wire woven dental head gear, you could… I’m not saying you will… but you could receive a hot mess. I’m not terribly familiar with teeth. I mean, other than my own.
But the risk is half the charm, right?
However, If you’re request is particularly entertaining, challenging or perplexing, I might just give away TWO prizes. Because I can. And I like to be unpredictable and keep you on your toes. Tutorials will be offered hourly. Fun will ensue. Madness usually follows. Good times, all in all.
- Comment with your request.
- Winner(s) will be announced on this page.
- Any prize unclaimed for 24 hours is forfeit.
- Open to everyone. Will ship anywhere.

“Hmm choices… I just love the textures and depth of layering in some of your work, it’s smooth like high end woven wicker (i love that stuff)… so here is what I would wish to have made by you should I be so lucky to be chosen.
I want a wire woven adorned Western Bridle for my buddy Micha. I have the bridle, the woven pieces need to be in a ‘frame’ of beaten brass or overlaid on to said brass that has some holes in it so I can rivet it to the leather.
Cheek Pieces and a Special adornment for his brow band. and I think he’ll also need a piece on his noseband… The key is tight woven not too 3D and set with turquoise and coral tarnish resistant please, shiny, not OX finish. incorporating turquoise, I’d also be looking to buy two more pieces to match the cheek and nose band for his breast collar and reins ..but that would be a bit later as i want to be sure he’s under saddle before I’d order those to match
Now I want to really deck Micha out for the Pioneer Day Parade. He is a Haflinger Horse and will carry about any nutty costume I can come up with but he needs to start out ‘back to work’ again after 2 long painful years “off”.
Micha was assaulted by neighborhood kids and they ran him through a fence damaging a tendon badly. 2 years of ‘healing time’ thousands of dollars in treatments, supplements, Xrays.. you name it.. special farrier care as well. And he MIGHT pull through so he needs to be the Awareness Against Animal Abuse critter so teh fancier up I can get him.. the better it will be.. and i’d get to use the same bridle on my QH so it would actually be USED.”
